About

One accountable support partner for complex multivendor networks.

OEM Support Solutions provides independent TAC and hardware support across critical telecom infrastructure, on 24/7 or 8/5 coverage set per contract. Operators gain direct access to senior, vendor-specific engineering capability without fragmented escalation paths, OEM lock-in or unnecessary upgrade pressure.

Built from operating reality

Independent support should protect the network, not a vendor roadmap.

OEM Support Solutions was founded in Recife in 2018 around a clear operating belief: serviceable telecom infrastructure should not become commercially or technically unsupported simply because a traditional vendor changes its priorities.

David Almeida Balça brought 15 years of experience in B2B telecom, managed services and specialist engineering delivery. Paulo Balça brought the business setup, financial discipline and local operating capability required to establish the model in Brazil. As father and son, they founded the company together, with distinct responsibilities and one shared standard of accountability.

Portugal operations opened in 2019, followed by the United Kingdom in 2021, engineering presence in Hanoi in 2022 and the Colombian operation in Bogotá in 2023. Each location serves a defined purpose: customer proximity, regional coordination, engineering mobilisation or local operational responsibility.

Today, four offices and one contracted engineering location connect through one delivery model covering multivendor TAC, incident response, hardware continuity and specialist engineering.

Founder-led accountability

The people responsible for the promise remain responsible for the outcome.

One shared standard of accountability

The operating model

Senior-led. Directly accountable.

OEM Support Solutions is independently owned and managed by telecom professionals with direct responsibility for commercial decisions, engineering mobilisation and service delivery. Clients are not passed through layers of account management before reaching someone capable of acting. Incidents have a clear owner, escalation decisions are made quickly, and accountability remains with us until the case reaches fix, workaround or documented escalation, with the record delivered.

01Restore

Built around restoration, not acknowledgement

The operating target is recovery. One delivery structure owns the incident from technical intake through diagnosis and closure.

02Own

Senior ownership from first contact

L2/L3 engineering starts at technical intake, with one case owner and a defined domain-lead escalation path.

03Independent

Commercial logic without an upgrade agenda

Support decisions stay separate from hardware quotas, renewal targets and forced migration dates.

04Scope

Curated technical coverage

Thirteen public vendors are mapped by domain and representative platform family, then validated against the actual estate.

05Reach

Regional reach, one delivery structure

Offices in London, Lisbon, Recife and Bogotá connect with contracted engineering presence in Hanoi.

06Bench

A specialist engineering bench

More than 15 years of telecom recruitment and technical sourcing supports access to niche capability.

Where the model meets the network

Remote engineering and hardware continuity belong in the same support conversation.

A fault can move from software behaviour to a failed interface, an unavailable line card or a cross-vendor dependency. The service model connects the people diagnosing the fault with the sourcing and compatibility work needed to close it.

01Remote diagnosis — senior engineering starts close to the fault, not at the end of a queue.

02Hardware continuity — part, platform and compatibility handled in the same workflow as the case.
